The front wheelhouse is repaired with homemade panels. It looks okay, but it can be done better. The panel is many years old from a prior project.

This beetle project started with the purchase of a 1967 1500cc beetle. The beetle was in a very bad condition and needed major surgery to be revived to a new state of youth.

Some bolts for the fenders are gone. These two rear fender fastening panels will be cut up to fix the holes.

The left rear quarter section is repaired using homemade panels, the heat from the welder has ruined the panel. So, it will be replaced. The right side is in acceptable condition. But to do things right the panel wil be replaced.

Both floor panels are in poor condition. It can be fixed, but new ones give a better result.

The left rear wheelhouse is repaired with small selfmade panels. The right rear wheelhouse is in very poor condition, you can look right through. These two parts will fix the problem.

The rear hood is in a good condition. But...... I like W type long rear hoods. So I bought this old one.
It's second hand, so not all is perfect.

The spare tire well has one big hole where there should be two small holes. This new part will fix the problem.

Two of the major parts which have to be replaced are the heater channels. Both are very much degraded by corrosion. The new heater channels are from a later priod than the original heater channels. But the shouldn't be a problem because the main dimensions are the same.
